Privacy Policy

Achi is software that helps businesses answer their customers' messages — on the business's website chat link, on Instagram Direct and on Facebook Messenger — and track which conversations turn into bookings and revenue. This policy explains what personal data Achi processes, why, and what choices you have.

1. Who is responsible

When you message a business that uses Achi, that business decides how your conversation is used; Achi processes the conversation on the business's behalf and on its instructions. For the accounts of business owners and their staff, Achi is responsible for the data.

2. What we process

3. Why we use it

We do not sell personal data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use your conversations to train AI models.

4. AI processing

Achi uses an AI model provided by Anthropic (Claude) to draft replies. Message text and the business's own information are sent to the model for this purpose only; attachments are not. Automated checks prevent the AI from inventing prices, discounts, availability or bookings, and from giving medical, legal or financial advice.

5. Service providers

We use these providers to run Achi, each under its own data protection terms:

6. Meta Platform data

Data received from Instagram and Facebook is used only to provide the messaging service to the business that connected its Page, in line with Meta's Platform Terms. If a business disconnects, or the person who connected the Page removes Achi in their Facebook settings, Achi deletes the access token and stops receiving and sending messages for that Page immediately.

7. How long we keep data

Conversations are kept while the business uses Achi, so it can see its history and results. They are deleted when the business asks us to or closes its account. Raw notifications received from Meta are cleared as soon as they have been processed.

8. Your choices

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit; access tokens are stored encrypted; each business can access only its own data.
